Health and Well-being
To support and strengthen our communities and team members, Dawn is committed to supporting services and groups that promote health, and well-being. Also, as a food business, we are equally concerned about the effects of hunger on our society. This is why we commit to supporting:
• Healthy Lifestyle programs
• Alleviation and prevention of hunger
• Disease prevention and research
Education
Dawn understands the competitive value of an educated, knowledgeable workforce. Not only does our industry need skilled strategists, accountants and computer technicians, we need Team Members with advanced culinary skills in addition to food scientists and people who are outstanding bakers. All of these crucial skills require an excellent education. To help create and maintain an educated, global workforce, Dawn supports:
• Programs and organizations that develop literacy for adults and children
• Vocational Baking Programs
Community Improvement
We want our Team Members and the communities in which they live, to grow and thrive. For that reason, Dawn supports organizations that enrich the lives of community members through the fine arts, including but not limited to:
• Art, theatre, dance and music programs for people of all ages
Volunteerism
To help others and show gratitude for what we have, Dawn Team Members around the globe generously donate their time and resources. Whether individually, or as Team Dawn, all are encouraged to assist those in need.
Product Donations
As a global food products company, Dawn is especially sensitive to the needs of those who are hungry. We are committed to donating products to a variety of food banks and shelters where we have operating facilities and offices. Also, when possible, we donate finished goods to non-profits for use at special events
