To say the customer is important is easy. To keep your customer in business is a huge task and goes far beyond words. Dawn understands you depend on us as a supplier. I understand this well because Dawn, too, expects to be valued as an important customer to our vendors.
The recent power failure in the northeastern part of the United States caused Dawn’s Detroit facility to take extreme steps to keep customers in business. There was no power at Dawn Detroit, and Team Dawn knows that just because the lights are not on, it doesn’t mean we don’t fill orders. So, Team Dawn Detroit picked orders by flashlight and made sure customers stayed in business.
Other Dawn facilities from Jackson, Michigan to Chicago assisted in bringing Dawn Detroit back to full operation. Believe me, we kept the Energizer Bunny hopping!
What a Team Dawn effort, to which I personally want to say, “Thank you,” to all who helped. And to those customers who depend on Dawn, you found this trust and loyalty well rewarded.
You are the customer. We understand it’s our customers who pay us. Dawn people understand this – that’s why we are here. We realize the importance of this relationship with you, and we thank you for the trust you place in us. On top of that, we enjoy what we do and we try to be a blessing to each other along the way. “It doesn’t get any better than that.”
