Thank you for taking your valuable time to visit Dawn’s website.  It is always exciting to share with you what’s happening in the life of Dawn Foods. All of us throughout the World of Dawn are excited about our future—our growth—and this year, 2006.

Dawn is a family business, and we want to keep it that way.  In January, we were very pleased to announce the appointment of Carrie Jones-Barber to the position of CEO of Dawn as my brother Miles and I moved into the positions of co-chairman of Dawn’s Board of Directors.

Carrie Barber, having experience in various leadership positions with Dawn International and Dawn U.S. for over 20 years, is enthusiastically looking forward to building a team that will take Dawn to that next level of approximately $2 billion in sales and beyond.  That goal brings with it great opportunities for Dawn People, our industry and our customers throughout the World of Dawn.

Family values and respect for the work being done at Dawn are reinforced by Aaron and Sam Jones, sons of my brother Miles, who are learning about the demands of a family business as we strive to grow and retain our servant leadership culture.  It’s that culture, we find, that makes the big difference between Dawn and our competitors – tough and aggressive as they are.

Dawn’s three pillars, which define our efforts: We Know. We Care. We Can Help,SM are supported throughout the World of Dawn.  These pillars form the foundation of the servant leadership culture that permeates Dawn.  Internal customers support the efforts of Dawn People, and external customers (those who make our paychecks possible) are the beneficiaries of our enthusiastic and dedicated efforts to make us—make Dawn—a better company serving YOU every day.

We thank God for the many ways He blesses Dawn and the People of Dawn, and we are proud to serve the baking industry.  We thank you, daily, for helping us move Dawn forward in servant leadership.
