DAWN’S ATLANTA DISTRIBUTION CENTER SCORES
SUPERIOR IN AIB INSPECTIONS

Dawn Food Products, Inc. announced that its distribution center located in Atlanta, Georgia recently achieved a Superior Rating in their annual inspection conducted by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) with an impressive score of 960 points.

“Our continued success with the AIB rankings makes everyone in the Dawn family proud,” said Max Waagner, Dawn Food Products’ Director of Environmental Control. “This is just one in a string of successes our Atlanta facilities have received and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication not only to reach this score but to keep a location at that level once it’s reached.” Recently, Dawn’s Atlanta manufacturing plant received an AIB inspection score of 945 points.

The American Institute of Baking judges manufacturing and distribution facilities based on food safety, sanitation and operational methods in a manufacturing environment.

Malcomb Cork, General Manager of the distribution center, credits Al Robinson, Dawn’s Environmental Services Coordinator, James Murphy, Operations Manager, and Mitch Moore, Operations/Transportation Manager, to securing the exceptional scores from the AIB. “This AIB score is the result of the dedication and hard work of the quality people Dawn hires to ensure we meet and exceed the level of service and excellence our customers have come to expect from Dawn,” said Cork.
