Marlin Jones purchased the Dawn Donut Company in 1955 and was joined in the business by his son Ron two years later. Family participation continued when Miles Jones and Steve Jones joined the company in 1967 and 1972, respectively.

Today, as chairman and co-chairman, Ron and Miles Jones have maintained the people-focused traditions of Dawn, while continuing to grow. The quality and family pride carries on with Ron’s daughter, Carrie Jones-Barber, CEO, who started with Dawn in 1985 and is now the third generation of the Jones family to lead the company. Other third-generation family members involved with the business include Aaron Jones, national buyer, Sam Jones, supply chain, Ben Jones, production, and Sarah Richmond, Dawn Foundation. These family members, along with the best team members in the industry, are dedicated to growing Dawn internationally as the world’s finest bakery supplier.
