DAWN FOOD PRODUCTS, INC. ACQUIRES

BROTHERS BAKING CO. FORT WAYNE, INDIANA DIVISION

Dawn Food Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the Fort Wayne, Ind., operations of Brothers Baking Company, Inc., a wholesale baking company with headquarters in Edwardsburg, Mich.

The 22,000-square-foot facility, located just south of Fort Wayne, will allow Dawn to expand and improve its frozen dough operations, including laminated doughs for Danish, cinnamon rolls and other sweet goods.

“In determining what facility would help Dawn continue our mission of being the leading bakery supplier to the retail, in-store, and wholesale segments, the Brothers Baking, Inc. acquisition made the most sense,” said John C. Nally, President of Dawn Foods North America.
