DAWN ADDS NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN NEW HOLLAND

In response to increased business opportunities in Europe and the United Kingdom, Dawn Food Products, Inc., headquartered in Jackson, Michigan, has added a manufacturing facility in Steenbergen, Netherlands.

The 43,000-square-foot facility, located just southeast of Amsterdam, will allow Dawn to expand and improve its frozen dough operations, including muffins and other baked goods.

"We are all very excited about the Holland addition to our family,” said Carrie Barber, President of Dawn International. “Through this acquisition, Dawn will be able to better serve our growing customer base in Europe and throughout the UK,” continued Barber.

As a result of this acquisition, Dawn will increase its number of manufacturing and distribution locations throughout the world to 46.
