DAWN FOOD PRODUCTS, INC. ANNOUNCES CESSATION OF OPERATIONS IN ARGENTINA

JACKSON, MI (December 13, 2005) – Dawn Food Products, Inc. announced today that it has ceased operations in Buenos Aires, Argentina, citing difficult baking industry conditions.

“After thoughtful consideration, it became apparent that the operation was not consistent with our overall strategic plan,” said Ken Hall, Vice President, International Development.  “The change will not have any impact on other Dawn operations worldwide.”
