JONES-BARBER APPOINTED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF DAWN FOOD PRODUCTS, INC.

JACKSON, MI (January 10, 2006) – The Board of Directors of Dawn Food Products, Inc., one of the world’s largest independently owned bakery manufacturers and distributors, has appointed Carrie Jones-Barber as chief executive officer of the company.

Ms. Jones-Barber is the third generation of the Jones family to continue Dawn’s growth, along with other Jones family members and over 4,000 Team Dawn members worldwide.

In another Board action, Ronald L. Jones was appointed Chairman and Miles E. Jones was named Co-Chairman of the organization. Ron Jones and Miles Jones will remain active in the management of Dawn Food Products, headquartered in Jackson, Michigan. “I am very pleased with the family’s dedication to continue the management of Dawn as one of the largest family businesses serving the baking industry,” said Ron Jones.

Ms. Jones-Barber most recently served as President of Dawn Foods International and was responsible for business strategy, growth and profitability of Dawn’s international operations, which grew to over $200 million during her six-year tenure. Jones-Barber’s past experience with Dawn also includes a role as business development manager for Dawn Foods UK Ltd. where she helped develop business opportunities in the U.K. and Europe.

Ms. Jones-Barber holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, and a masters of management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois.
