SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR AWARDS FROM MRS. FIELDS FAMOUS BRANDS

April 16, 2007 – Jackson, Mich. – Dawn Food Products, Inc. is proud to announce that two of its organizations – Dawn Bakery Distribution and Countryside Baking – have both been honored with supplier awards by Mrs. Fields Famous Brands.  Countryside Baking, Inc., a Dawn Food Products Company, was named Supplier of the Year by Mrs. Fields Famous Brands. Dawn Bakery Distribution received the Franchisee Choice – Supplier of the Year Award as determined by a survey of Pretzel Time, Pretzel Maker and Mrs. Fields franchisees attending the convention.  All three concepts are owned by parent company, Mrs. Fields Famous Brands.

Eric Metzendorf, president of Dawn’s Bakery Distribution, said these honors demonstrate the value in going the extra mile for customers.  “Dawn has a unique relationship with customers that’s based on trust and a genuine commitment to their satisfaction,” he said.  “More than 400 franchise delegates filled out surveys and gave Dawn Bakery Distribution top marks in terms of customer service and delivery.  This all adds up to extremely happy, successful customers … and that’s good news for everyone!”

Countryside and Dawn Bakery Distribution were honored with the prominent awards during the Mrs. Fields Famous Brands Franchisee Convention recently held in Las Vegas.  Kent Hayden, chief operating officer of Countryside, said he was thrilled by the accomplishment, “This is a very proud moment for Countryside and Dawn.” 

Hayden went on to note that the accomplishment was a total team effort -- “Hats off to Countryside’s entire Mrs. Fields Team.  Achievements such as these are made possible because of the dedication of our team and its commitment to outstanding customer service.”
