- The marshmallow-mass sets very quickly. Keep mixing on low to medium speed while not in use. Don’t pause piping until all the mass has been used.
- Pay attention to make the surface of the marshmallows as smooth as possible, the smoother it is, the easier it is to pipe the Belnap on top.
- Use a small pencil brush to create thin bloodlines.

- To cut eyes in cakes you can use cardboard, see video.
- Use candy spiders and tie them with cling film around a rolling pin. Freeze the rolling pin before you start.
