Working Method

Make up cake mix according to the manufacturer's directions. Line a cupcake pan with paper liners and deposit prepared cake mix using a #16 blue scoop to deposit 1.5oz cupcakes.  Bake at 360F until cupcakes spring back lightly when touched.  Let cupcakes cool completely. Mix peppermint extract with Dawn Exceptional White Buttercream. Stripe a piping bag with red buttercream, fill with prepared peppermint buttercream. Ice cupcakes with a swirl of buttercream, decorated with a candy cane and candy cane sprinkles.
