Working Method
Buttercreme Formula:
- Light Yellow- 1 part Bright Yellow: 5 parts White
- Goldenrod Yellow- 8 parts Bright Yellow: 1 part Orange: 8 parts White
- Red
- Carnelian- 3 parts Red: 1 part Chocolate
- Sangria Red- 2 parts Red: 1 part Purple
- Midnight Blue- 2 parts Royal Blue: 2 parts Purple: 1 part Black
Cupcake Directions:
Line conventional size cupcake pans with paper liners. Prepare the yellow and devil's food cake mixes according to the manufacturer’s instructions then use a #16 blue scoop to deposit 1.5 oz. batter into each cavity. Bake at 350°F until cupcakes spring back lightly when touched. Let cool completely. Decorate cupcakes using floral tips to create large, fall flowers.
