Fruity Diamond Tarts




Make a cut ¾” from the edge in one corner of Dawn Puff Pastry Squares (see diagram). Make a similar cut in the opposite corner. These two cuts should not connect. Dock inside area with fork. Brush outside edges with water. Lift one side over to opposite side where the other slit is. Press down to seal. Pull opposite corner over to form diamond.


Bake in 375°F oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and fill as desired.


Cherry Diamond Tart: Fill diamond with Dawn Exceptional® Whole Cherry Filling. Strawberry Diamond Tart: Mix Dawn Select™ Strawberry Filling and Glaze with fresh strawberries and add a sprig of fresh rosemary. Apple/Pear Diamond Tart: Fill diamond with Dawn Select™ Chopped Apple Filling. Add fresh pear slices. Glaze with Dawn Honey Pectin. Mango & Creme Diamond Tart: Fill diamond alternately with Dawn Select™ Mango Filling and Dawn Exceptional® Bavarian Creme Filling. To Finish Tarts: Brush or spray top of diamonds with water and sprinkle with crystal sugar.
