Scale Baker’s Request™ Yellow Cake Mix according to bag directions. Pour into 8” baking pans.
350°F for 20-30 minutes. Cool.
Slice cooled rounds into ½” layers, approximately 2 layers per round. Spoon Dawn Exceptional® Chocolate Buttercreme Style Icing into a piping bag fitted with a speed ice tip. Pipe a layer of frosting in between each cake layer. Layer until there are 5 layers of cake, then frost the outside of the cake. Immediately coat edges of the cake with DDA® Sliced Almonds. Warm Dawn Select™ Caramel Glossy Cake Icing in the microwave at 15 second intervals until pourable. Pour caramel icing over the top of the cake, without letting it drip down the sides, then allow to cool.
