What you'll need
“Mini Pie Pans:” Mini Tin Pans, or Crème Brulee Ramekins
Prepare your pie crust of choice. Roll out to 1/8 inch thick and cut to fit your specific pan choice. Press the crust into the pie pans and press the edges to cover all the sides. (Set aside remaining pie crust for tops.)
Bake the crust for 25-30 minutes at 350°F using pie weights or rice technique.
Once the crusts have cooled, pipe in Dawn Exceptional® Sliced Apple Filling until ¾ is filled. Add remaining pie crust to the tops in desired design.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling. Allow to cool.
If you will not be selling your crème brulee pans with your pies, you will need to remove the pie from the pans. You may need to use a knife around the crust and the crème brulee pans. Turn over on cooling rack to remove pies. Greasing the pans prior to baking will ensure easier removal.
