Directions

1. Grease a silpat mat with butter. 2. Stir together the sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice, and salt with 1/4 cup of water in a small pot. 3. Bring to a boil without stirring until it reaches 300*F 4. Add the peanuts and stir to combine. 5. Turn off the heat and add the peanut butter, cayenne pepper, baking soda, and butter. 6. Pour out onto the greased silpat and let cool completely. 7. Peel away from the surface and chop into the desired size.

Assembly

1. Make the Donut dough according to bag directions. 2. Cut the donuts into squares. 3. Combine together the donut icing and peanut butter. 4. Ice the donuts and sprinkle cayenne overtop. 5. Using a pastry bag, place 10z. of buttercreme in center of the donut. 6. Place one piece of pecan brittle on donut. 7. Drizzle entire donut with chocolate donut icing.
