WORKING METHOD

Place 5 pounds icing sugar in a bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.  Stream in 12.5oz hot water while mixer is running on low.  Scrape the bowl and mix on low for 5 minutes. 

Make up the donut mix according to manufacturer’s instructions.  Fry and let cool completely.  Dip in prepared glaze icing, reheating icing as necessary, and let set up before serving.
