Prepare Chocolate Cake Mix according to bag directions. Scale 1 pound into sprayed cake pans. Bake at 350°F until cake springs back lightly when touched in the center. Let cool completely and depan. Build cakes with 4 layers with white buttercreme, adding in internal supports. Smooth ice in white buttercreme. Using small spatulas, “paint” on design, starting at the bottom and working up the sides of the cake. Don’t be afraid to layer in several layers so that the cake gets a textured look.
