Dawn Foods now offers a range of bake-stable ‘just add water’* Dry Filling Mixes for spreading, filling or layering into sweet pastries, dough and sweet breads to create eye-catching finished product and a moist, flavoursome eat.
The new Dry Filling Mixes are available in two formats:
• PlusFill, which is brimming with inclusions to give a premium taste as well as texture
• BakeFill, a neutral product which can be paired with Dawn Fillings or Flavours to make a fruity or chocolatey combination.
Bakers just need to mix with water (*except Quark which also requires Curd Cheese) and leave to hydrate for 10-15 minutes and the product will be ready to use.
PlusFill Nut contains 34% hazelnuts for a chunky-nutty texture and flavour, PlusFill Poppy has 50% poppy seeds and gives an aromatic taste profile while PlusFill Almond contains 30% Almonds to give a subtle taste. The PlusFill range is completed with fresh-tasting PlusFill Yogurt and smooth and spicy PlusFill Cinnamon.
The array of flavour options available means that bakers can easily create a range of different products such as cinnamon swirls and buns, almond croissants or use to swirl through muffins.
For a more economical way of creating a variety of fillings, BakeFill Neutral can be used to create exciting flavour combinations with Dawn’s Flavours and Fruit Fillings.
