Spider Web Muffins

COMPOSITION:

For 12 Mushroom Muffins (110g)
  • 1320g Muffin Batter Plain or Chocolate
  • DAWN® Glossy Icing Vanilla coloured with Orange Food Colouring
  • DAWN® Glossy Icing - Dark Chocolate

WORKING METHOD:

1+2. Muffin batter
  • Mix all ingredients with flat beater for 1 minute on slow speed and 3-4 minutes on medium speed
  • Add required chocolate chunks on slow speed

ASSEMBLY:

  • Pipe or scoop the muffin batter into mushroom muffin cases.
  • Bake at 190°C deck oven, or 160°C fan oven for 30-35 minutes then leave to cool.
  • Warm the DAWN® Glossy Icings to 45°C, colour the vanilla one with orange food colouring and leave in a bowl.
  • Dip the muffin tops into the orange icing and leave to set.
  • Put the DAWN® Glossy Icing - Dark Chocolate into a piping bag and pipe three circles onto the top of the muffins.
  • Drag a cocktail stick from the top centre down to the bottom of the muffin top to create a feathering effect through the icing.
  • Do this evenly around the muffin so it looks like a spiders web.
