Xmas Pudding Cookie

Ingredients

Chocolate Cookie Dough
  • 1000g DAWN® Dark Devils Chocolate Cookie Base
  • 160g Butter (softened)
  • 70g Water
  • 200g Chocolate Chunks (optional)
Icing
  • 1000g DAWN® Fondant Sublime
  • 100g Water
Finish
  • DOBLA® Green Holly Leaf (with Berry)

Directions

Add the DAWN® Dark Devils Chocolate Cookie Base and butter to a mixing bowl fitted with a beater and mix on slow speed for 3 minutes. (You could also use DAWN® Prairie Vanilla Cookie Base).

Add the water and mix on slow speed until a dough has formed.

Add the chocolate chunks (if required) and blend in on slow speed.

Form the dough into 60g pucks.

Bake in a fan oven for 11-12 minutes at 160°C.

Heat DAWN® Fondant Sublime to 35°C, mix until smooth and then add the water and mix in thoroughly.

Dip 1/3 of each cookie into the icing.

Place 1 DOBLA® Green Holly Leaf (with Berry) decoration onto each cookie.

 

MAKES: Approximately 23 Cookies with chocolate chunks
